Physical and Chemical Properties:

White cube and powder, pale pink or light yellow are allowed, atmospherical sublimating at the temperature over 76 , easily to decarboxylate and change into phenol and carbon dioxide when heated quickly. Its aqueous solution appears acid reaction, becomes purple with FeCl3, slightly soluble in water, soluble in boiling water, soluble in ethanol or ether.
